Home Sales Increase For February!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on how the real estate market is doing here in Southern California and in California as a whole.

Currently in California home sales have increased from January to February for this year by 5.4 percent. Across all of California 29,630 homes were sold in February. This is a 8.5 percent increase from February of 2011. This is good news for all prospective home owners.

In southern California there were 15,573 new and resale houses and condos sold during the month of February. That was an 8.4 percent increase from February 2011. Distressed homes make up half of the real estate market here in southern California. Here in Simi Valley we had an amazing 108 homes sold in February. Thousand Oaks had 66, Beverley hills had 34 and Calabasas had 18 homes sold last month.
